As a true Philadelphia native, my career as a photographer has been consistently influenced by the city itself, its communities and artistic movements. My first published photo captured the Love Park skateboarding era, and a main goal of mine as a photographer is to eternalize moments like that through my own unique aesthetic. What I love about my job is the opportunity to be a small part of peoples’ big moments, and to capture people sharing their passions with their community. From working with brides & grooms, to artists onstage, to families wanting to freeze a moment in time, I am always interested in the ways I can adapt my creative process to best represent the person in front of the lens and their own vision.
Besides the passion I have for my work, I enjoy cooking large meals in my West Philly home, risking my life in center city bike lanes, making my rounds at my favorite dive bars and coffee shops, seeing my friends and clients perform at local venues, and spending countless hours in secondhand stores I never knew existed. All of these routines keep me interested in capturing the ever-changing environments and people I’m blessed to share this city with.
